Almost anyone who has a computer and an Internet connection uses the email service to send and receive messages. The problem is that most email clients on the market are difficult and non-intuitive and require a lot of time to be mastered and learned. On the other hand, online email interfaces are difficult to use and don't have too many features. These problems are solved when installing the i.Scribe application.

This Windows program is actually a light email client, which allows you to send and receive emails with ease. After the program has been installed and launched, the user first needs to configure an email account. For this, he will need to enter some details regarding the email server, port, username, password and so on. Unfortunately, there is no option for automatically detecting email settings from the server, so some users may have trouble configuring it.

After having configured the email account, the user will be able to easily send new messages. As such, he will only need to write the email text, add a recipient and click on the Send button. Emails can only be created using plain text, as there is no support for media elements, like photos or videos. For making it easier to send a message to the same recipient, the user can add him to the contact manager. The same goes when sending the same message over and over again, as i.Scribe offers the possibility of adding it as a template into the program.

Besides sending and receiving emails, i.Scribe also allows planning tasks, by using a calendar. As such, the user will be able to add various activities and tasks to the calendar and also print it. In order to organize received messages, i.Scribe allows setting up filters, which can automatically detect certain fields from incoming messages and, according to them, it can move the messages to certain folders or it can delete them automatically.

Pros

It features an intuitive interface, making it easy to send and receive emails. Besides that, recipients can be added to a contact list and emails can be added as templates. Furthermore, a calendar is included, allowing you to add tasks and events.

Cons

Emails can only be written using plain text, as there is no support for adding images or other media elements. Besides that, the program cannot automatically read email settings from the server and the user will need to configure his account manually. Using i.Scribe, you will be able to send and receive emails with minimum effort.
